Laser Beams & Particle Streams Software, Inc was officially formed in October of 1997. In the heart of it's founder, Arthur D. Moyer, it was formed about 9 years ago when the ideas for "Gods of War" first started to form in it's creators mind (now called "Rank: Warmaster"). When Arthur started to do computer consulting, he formed LBPS, Inc. to be his corporatation to consult threw. At the same time, things were put in place toward starting the gaming aspect of the company.
LBPS, Inc is dedicate to delivering quality software. I know everyone hears that a lot but it is take very seriously here. Quality is more important than time or money. Just from a business aspect, if work done is outstanding, you have a repeat client. In a time of cost cutting, and doing the least possible to make a buck, LBPS, Inc. stands out. The business development is to finance the gaming development. The goal is to make the gaming aspect more profitable than the business development. This mean developing high quality games with the same idea that nothing will be released before it is ready, no matter what the marketeers say. LBPS, Inc. is self-funded so there are no outside forces to override the idea of quality over money.
While the current Amiga market might be shrinking, it is still a very classy machine. It is the hope of this company that Amiga, Inc.'s efforts to resurrect the Amiga will be successful. In the gaming arena, an Amiga and Windows version of a project will be released. We are not dissolutioned to think that the Amiga platform in it's current state can financially sustain this company. However, that doesn't mean that quality software should not be written for it.
